Whether you know it or not you play a part in someone’s life, they look up to you and draw inspiration from you so what do you think your hurtful words do to them? How do you think it makes them feel to see one of their idols/heroes say such negative things? Does looking this way make them bad people, I think not! Bet you never thought about that!
These words tend to be taken to heart even though they are not necessarily spoken to them directly. I know I know they shouldn’t but that at times is easier said than done, it shouldn’t be but more times than not it is!
Wouldn’t it be more productive and a better way to expend energy to help someone rather than berate them and make them feel worthless in their own skin? It would almost be better to be punched in the face at least that scar would heal unlike the scar that the spoken word can leave, a lasting mark that cannot be seen but is there none the less; a constant reminder.
It’s quite shameful really, I hope you feel better about yourself but have to ask; how would you feel to find out something you said drove someone to do something horrible to themselves as a direct result of your words?

I really liked talking to you but now feel that once again I read too much into the situation, story of my life it seems. You said you were attracted but wanted to take things slow so you didn’t end up hurt because you have a lot of personal things going on. I tried to get you to open up , tried to be there for you but it was nothing you wanted to share which is fine, I didn’t want to push. I don’t think such heavy burdens should be shouldered alone, talking can often help but you kept telling me that it was yours to bear well ok if that’s how you want it I will abide by your wishes.
Now you tell me that you are “talking” to someone you had “talked” to before, say you trust her with what you are dealing with but what am I? I know I am probably expecting too much and will leave well enough alone but I have to ask was it not enough to hurt me, why are you still “talking” to me?
